ダルマとは、日本で広く親しまれている縁起物の一つで、忍耐・努力・成功・願掛けの象徴とされています。
ダルマは、インドの僧-達磨大師をモデルにした人形で、丸い形状が特徴です。
倒しても何度でも起き上がることから、「七転び八起き」ということわざと結びつけられ、困難に負けずに立ち上がる力を表す象徴として知られています。
そんなダルマを"かっこよさの中に茶目っけ"をモットーにしている宰門の手によって和とトライバルの要素を掛け合わせたデザインになっております。
Daruma is a traditional Japanese good luck charm, widely recognized as a symbol of perseverance, determination, and goal-setting.
Modeled after the Indian monk Bodhidharma, Daruma dolls are known for their round shape and ability to return upright when tipped over—perfectly embodying the Japanese proverb “fall down seven times, stand up eight.” Which means—never give up, even if fail many times.
This Daruma design, created by Simon, combines traditional Japanese elements with tribal influences, in line with his motto:
"Cool with a playful twist." It’s a modern interpretation of a timeless symbol of resilience.
